The Void continued

As I still sit in the void I noticed that it was particularly quiet. Wait, the voices they are gone. The interesting stories, idol gossip and the stupid arguments gone!!! Is this a good thing? Hello, ello llo lo lo, well the echos are still here. Has the void gotten so massive that I can't even hear myself think anymore?

Wait is that light, a shimmer of hope...yes! I see two shapes they look friendly but I must be careful.

Who are you? I ask.....wait for it "We are neither you or them" the shapes say. What? what the hell does that mean I ask, it means "we are not you and not the people you think we might be" the shapes say. Well that clears that up. Ummm, why are you here? I ask, "You are in a dark void, your life has all but stalled and you see no hope and you ask why are WE here? Okay, pretty stupid question... so you are here to help? NO say the shapes...We are not you nor are we them. Okay, Mr/Mrs shape person I know you are not me but can you shed some light on who THEM might be? "No we are not you"....okay wait, let me get this straight. You are dark shapes that are not me or them but if you were ME you would know who THEM is? Correct!!!!!

For the record I have never taken any drug stronger than Vicodin while being in the Void.

Wow, who knew???

I know its late right now and I need to get up early to meet a friend for coffee but I had to write this. I get a text from my sister telling me that they have extended unemployment benefits. I was very excited to hear all of this and so I found the video online listen to what it had to say and when it was done it said that the Democrats still needed to vote on it. I thought to myself okay two-thirds isn't bad. If the the GOP is cool with it and so is the President let us tip our glass and say good for us, we can actually talk to one another.

So as I get ready to go to bed I thought to myself "Hmmm I wonder if there is a Democrat web page, and sure enough there was"!!! So I made two clicks I got to read all about it and the funny thing was the last sentance said this "Democrats in Congress are continuing to push for an extension of benefits before the close of the 111th Congress". (That was copied and pasted from the sight). So I decided let us look at the GOP website....First thing I see is them advertising a "I fired Pelosi" T-shirt along with other things you can buy at the GOP Store. I could not find anything on the events of today, I clicked every where I could and did not see a things. i see things like volunteer and invest in the GOP party but no news of the day. The newest thing they have up is Congressman Steele's message.

So in summation let me see if I have this right.....

We are waiting on the Democrats to sign something they believe in and are pushing to get through while the Republicans have signed it and want to say nothing about it except "Merry Christmas buy our merchandise".

You know I have heard of Ying and Yang I have even heard of the right hand not knowing what the left one is doing but this????? They were in the same damn room for God sakes, with microphones!!! I wonder if there is a vendor outside the Capital building selling the GOP wares to anyone who will buy them.

I am neither a Democrat or a Republican although I have been called an ass and I have been told I have a mind like an elephant. I do support this message.

Help my best friend is trying to kill me!!!!

Okay let me first start off by saying I love my best friend, she has been in my life for 19 years and we have gone through a lot but trying to kill me is a deal breaker. She has always wanted me to try Mexican hot chocolate so finally she gave it to me and it was okay but I didn't like the strong cinnamon flavor "What cinnamon flavor "she asked so she reads the ingredients and well no cinnamon at all. She looks at the expiration date YUP! May of 2009. So i must ask myself, she has nothing to gain from this, why would she want me to try and get sick, is this a weight loss tactic? Did I do something cruel and this is her revenge? or is this for the Almond Butter that I asked her to try and she actually liked it and hated the fact that I was correct? I bet that's it. Dammit I shouldn't be so right all the time.


Okay, so we are even but still she breaks her promises and I think she thinks if she kills me off she can stop hearing about them. Are you listening, is this your little game? I am willing to play but remember I will haunt you if you win.........BOO!!!!!!!!

Unemployed Vs The Congress

I may be a little biased on this subject but I also know of a few other people who are in my shoes so I would like to be their voice as well. First I must ask "who the hell does Congress think they are"? They don't want to pay out any more unemployment benefits to people, I get it, there are people who do abuse the system and those people have ruined it for the rest of us but with that said one bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch of us either. There are a lot of us who hop online, read papers, pound the pavement looking and tap into any resource we can with hopes of getting hired on for at least a 25-30% cut in pay. So here is my little letter to Congress that I would like to say to them:

Dear Congress of the United States of America,
We the unemployed would like to thank you for letting us know we will not be able to live in our homes next year. We would also like to thank you for making sure our bills are not paid, the children are not fed and we cannot afford our medication. We would love to thank you for distorting the truth in the unemployment rate so things look better, (just to fill you in Mr/Mrs. Congressperson "When a person stop collecting unemployment benefits does not mean they are not still unemployed" but instead you list them as "NOT UNEMPLOYED"!!! great job people). I am tired of all of you talking out of your ass when all you do is look at numbers on a spreadsheet, HEY! stupid, numbers can be played with to look better or worse or do you not know this. Then a statement gets released that jobs are on the rise.....HEY! its December you fucks its called temporary help, I am so glad you find us that stupid. It is refreshing to know that you think the American public can be that easily fooled.

Here is an idea, since most of you make over $150,000 per year why don't you take $50,000 of that and put it a fund. Now there are 535 people who make up congress so lets do the math $50k x535=2,675,000, I guess it could help. For the most of you that is about a 25% cut in pay many people across the U.S. have taken no raises, a cut in benefits and a cut in pay. Some of us have taken up to a 50% cut in pay which is what I get on unemployment 50% of my old salary which now thanks to you I will be at a 100% loss of everything. Thanks!

So I would like to conclude with a simple plea, please try not to step on us as you are walking down the street. Say "Hi" every once in awhile, it will make us think someone cares and most importantly, Have a Merry Christmas. (insert sarcasm comment here)

Christmas time!!!!!

Ahh, it's Christmas time again and once again I am confused. No it has nothing to do with the religious aspects of it (Honest it doesn't), but I find it amusing just watching people. Many people like this holiday so they can decorate the house, play Santa and kiss the diet good bye because well the New Year is coming and so it will be my New Year's resolution.

Confusion...

Never have I seen a holiday bring out the good and the bad in people at the same time. Think about it, you cannot wait for that morning to come but you hate to go to the mall and shop and deal with the crowds or, you just can't find what you would like to get so you wander around looking for something else. All the while causing yourself to be frustrated so you get yourself a Starbucks®. My absolute favorite thing people do is go out Christmas shopping and spend more on themselves because well "The sweater that was $65 was on sale for $30 and the game that Kevin wanted was $10 dollars off making it only $15 so I saw this jacket that was regularly $120 and it was 30% off so I couldn't resist, after all I saved $45 dollars". Okay wait " you saved $45 dollars and spent $84 on the jacket"......oh wait I see you really only spent $39 because you saved $45. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF LOGIC IS THIS!!!!!!! I would understand it if you only spent $45 you saved, its called breaking even, but nope you had to spend more because you can't do math.

So what is sexy...a man's point of view

Have you ever wondered why some people are considered sexy, while others, possibly of similar physical attributes are not? Now there is a old saying that a man is attracted to a woman's appearance and falls in love with her as a result, I for one do not believe this is true. There have been times where I really didn't like the woman but after hanging around her and getting to know her I started to fall in love with her....or so I thought. Love is a strong word, and there are many different types so I guess I would say a deep affection for that person. I am in love now, I see and feel the difference between my past and now.

Men think of sex more times a day then women do, its a known fact and men have the uncanny knack to take any subject or situation and turn it sexual, I don't know why but if I was to guess it would be because we view things differently.

Sexy goes beyond pretty and ugly, it's an attitude. It's the confidence you portray to others. Intelligence is sexy but not over intelligence, I mean think about it, a man or woman who knows exactly what they are talking about can be a big turn on. Here is something that most people do not know, at one time being fat was sexy, it was a sign of wealth...it meant you could afford food. A famous artist by the name of Peter Paul Rubens depicted "larger" women in his portraits because it was the norm back in those days. Venus to him was a full bodied woman, not this skinny little thing.

Some men find women attractive in pairs. We watch we study, we wait to see how close you will get to each other. The giggling, touching can be very sexy, or is it, it might be just sexual and there lies the big difference, and since men think about sex more often it might just be a sexual attraction.

Leather or lace? Men like to see fabrics that cling to a woman's form. Make it white for purity and you have a party. Softness and femininity can go a long way but ladies it doesn't matter if your thin or thick, if the man likes you and thinks your sexy than the clingy fabric thing is the way to go.....NOT THE FLANNEL!!!!. Now some men prefer the woman to be a little unorthodox and like what I call the bad girl image...Black bras, stockings, thongs, hell even a black evening gown and I am there. Just bring the attitude and the confidence and we are partying.

Now we enter the less is more category... Ladies have you ever watched your man when a woman is where a less is more outfit? Even the white T-Shirt and black, blue, or pink bra underneath will drive us crazy, why? you ask, we are seeing your underclothes.... yeah that does it for us. Bend over a little bit and let us see you wearing your sexy underwear... we know that you have them, we know what your favorite ones are so we figure if you are wearing them you might just want it.

To summarize...For me sexy is this, The way you carry yourself, the confidence you portray, the way you let me know what you want and need, not by so much talking but by actions. If you tell me, paint the picture, be graphic but intellectual...choose your words carefully though. Wear the jeans I like with the thong and matching bra and find a way to let me know and make me wait for it...make me beg for it. Tease, Tease, Tease. Come at me like a raging bull if you want me and don't settle until you get what you want. Now sex doesn't have to happen but we will have a great connection and a huge spark and that is what sexy is "a connection".

Me Vs Veronica Vs Dorkiness

Okay for all of you who read my blogs...(all two of you) I have been challenged. You see my best friend Veronica likes to call me a dork when ever I post something. I think it is because of either the topics or the writing style. So she asked me to do one on being a dork...remember Veronica you asked for it.

As most of you all know I was tending to my mother last week and I had some thoughts. Mom called me a bastard and I thought wow that's interesting.....you had me out of wedlock.... you slut!!! but then I looked up the meaning of bastard and here is what I found

a. a vicious, despicable, or thoroughly disliked person.

b. a person, esp. a man.

So if I fall in the first category well then I was born before June 1952, unlikely since I am 47.

If I fall in the second category I don't think of me as the "A" category, I mean I'm not thoroughly
disliked. But "B" yes I am definitely "B".

So in this craziness I looked up Son of a Bitch....once again I was surprised. Definitions are as follows:

in the world dictionary it says:

So as I once again see it I am not thoroughly disagreeable although sometimes I can be a chore but I am not worthless or contemptible but I am definitely a humorous and affectionate and a man.

Sex Vs the Economy

I had this weird thought the other night and started to think "How many women have gotten into the sex industry since the economy took a dive". I found this interesting enough of a question to look into because SO many people look down upon the sex industry. So I went searching and here is what I had found out.

According to the last count they say about 55% of the population are women, which is about 150 million all who are over the age of 18. Now I do understand that there are various reasons why women enter this profession whether it be Prostitution, Escorting, Online Sex shows, Stripping or whatever... if you are showing the goods I am going to call it the sex industry. (Now if you taking pics of yourself and sending them to a husband, boyfriend or whatever you are in the clear, that is your private thing with your partner and I don't consider that The Sex Industry).

So after looking around I read that 10% of the women in the U.S. have entered in the sex industry since January 2009, think about that that 1.5 million women. Now, some left and some stayed. I am sure the number is in the 100,000 some where but still. Some of these women did it just to make it in life. Could you?

So we all know the Industry makes money so how does this trickle down to a common housewife or a woman trying to pay her bills. Well for obvious reason we can see that prostitution doesn't really pay. Stripping does pay, I had a friend who was a stripper and she cleared about $1500-$2000 a weekend and she only worked Friday-Sunday 6 hours a day. funny part was she was a lesbian and here all these guys were flipping here 20's, 50's and 100's and all she could do was imagine going down on her girlfriend or going on vacation.

Brothels like the Bunny Ranch, you can make some money but I believe I heard once I think they take 60-70% of your pay but you get a house to live in, medical and clients on a regular basis and you are in a secure environment.

Then there is being an Escort, could be cool, lots of money to be made, could mean lots of travel, at the sites I looked at I see girls going for a 2 hour rendezvous for $1500 all the way up to 24 hours is $10,000 with additional days (12-24 hours) being about $6000. Okay so I don't know about other guys but paying $2000 for some 2 hour company and sex is not my idea of a great time. But there is money to be made if your phone rings.

Internet....ahhh the biggie, according to 2008 study from the University of Colorado online porn was a 97 billion (yes Billion) dollar industry with no signs of really slowing down. I remember a news thing I read where this one teenage girl made her website (29.95 for 30 days) took off her clothes, took some pictures and made some movies of herself just masturbating and she made 12 million dollars take home. This means around 97 thousand subscribers in the first year alone...she made actually over $34 million dollars but was in the 35% tax bracket. Chick never has to work again, all from 1 year of stripping in her own house with promotion and most importantly doing it all on her own time. Also, I remember watching some talk show where a couple has had there own online sex show business for 10 years and never told a soul and their kids never knew. They would take the kids to school go back to the house get the laptop and the camera out of a secret area in the closet, do their thing put it all away 6 hours later and no one would know. They were also millionaires. So this is where the common housewife or women is trying to make ends meet get their ideas.

So here are the tough questions, you are having a hard time paying your bills, mortgage, rent or even putting food on the table. You may have kids or not. You can't find a job, I just read a news article about Maria who lives in Castro Valley who has a B.A. in business but got laid off she applied for everything and her phone never rang, she took her business skills and made an Escort service and she advertises on Craig's list of all places.

So, what do you do? Do you degrade yourself? or is it degrading when you are trying to stay alive? Yes you have friends and family but you never want to keep asking them for $1000 a month or more. Do you want to move back in with your parents? what if you couldn't? Tell me what would you do or better yet, what would you do if you found out your friend was doing it? disown her, try to talk her out of it? I find this an interesting subject. But regardless there is money to be made, sex sells, we all know it. Weather it be in beer commercial, soap commercials, make up, perfume, teen movies and I am sure you can think of thousands more. It will sell.

The game of life

Do you remember playing the game of "LIFE" when you were young. You went to college or not, you chose a profession, you would get married (maybe) and have kids(maybe) earning money paying bills all in search of hopefully living in the mansion and retiring.

This game was a fantasy and a total fabrication of lies all in the amusement of some corporate big wigs who got rich off it. Did the game match what happened in your life or in anyone else you know of......I think not. Lets look at the REAL game of life.

Now you may have or have not went to college, I did, a junior college didn't learn much because well the teachers don't care. I went to a vocational school that had college in the name but it wasn't really a college. All this entire time I was working retail and gaining experience for life though. Went to a lot of parties (no parties in Milton, Bradleys version) started having sex a lot (no sex in MB version either you just all of a sudden have kids). Did some heavy drugs (yup none in MB version) Had some great girlfriends (none are in MB you all of a sudden get married, I think it must be an arranged marriage). Economy for us is ridiculous sales tax keeps going up and up (but not in MB version). There is health care in the MB version but it doesn't cost anywhere near what it does in real life.

There is no sickness in MB version of life nor is there homelessness, diseases, racial tension, war, crime, or teen pregnancies. So I will ask you is the MB version of life, life?

Real life = a real game, a real consequence. Where people are put on this earth to die. Live your life so you can say I have done it all but please know in the end that there is no winning. You can't it's just not possible. There is no "let's play again!!!" (although I do believe in reincarnation, I just don't believe you come back as yourself in the present form or tense) If you can't beat the game then why play it, no one wants to play a game that they can't beat. Oh, sure we try but after awhile you just become tired and bored and frustrated which brings me to my life.

Blessings

Blessing, why is it that some people have more than others. Is it for the fact that God may like them better...I don't think so. I don't think God has anything to do with it at all, I think we are blessed by the choices we make and the paths it leads us on to make the next decision. But with that thinking should one bad choice decide our fate, definitely not. If that was the case we would all be screwed. So let us evaluate.....

NOTE: I am not talking about one person here, I am talking about 7-8 people here. I am just not mentioning names.

I know people who I wouldn't say have it all but most definitely have it better than some and good things are always happening to them (I find this literally amazing). The last best thing that happened to me was getting engaged and for someone like me who the higher authorities in life don't actually shine on I hold on to that feeling because in reality I don't know when the next thing might come.

But I know of people who are finding money, finding jobs, going on fun vacations and these things are all well deserved they really are but seriously I have a friend who has been out of work over a year and has gone on 42 interviews in that time, me....1. Now he did finally get a job as a driver for Costco and was terminated again but what I wanna know is how did he get 42 interviews? I used to work with this person, I can out sell him easily yet he got 42 and me 1. Was he lying??

I know of another person, they talk to God and they pray and POOF!!!! answered...come on. I talk to God, I get St. Peter putting me on hold like I was calling the Tech Support of Comcast and I am the blinking light all the way to the right of the phone. We all know that phone, had 5 buttons you could press for different lines plus one red button for hold. Well nobody ever picks up line 5. I can even go as far as this person one time called me and said your praying sucks!!! I told them I know but I did it for you anyways.

Now I will say I am blessed with a wonderful, beautiful and sexy Fiancee. Along side of her 3 great and terrifying kids and great soon to be In-laws. I have 6 of the best people in my life I know I will ever meet. All of you different to keep up with my many personalities.

So I am blessed but why does it seem that others are more. Is it something you are doing? is it something in your soul? Is it a belief in something so powerful that it defies logic? or is it just luck? A random roll of the dice, a game of what we call our life. Or do some just deserve it while others don't.

Aesop once said "The Gods help them that help themselves" (yes he said it first because he died in 564 B.C.) he was speaking of course of the Greek Gods. Could that be true? Are the Gods watching? Has this been the "Big Brother" everyone was talking about and not the government, I will let the public vote on that.

Until then, count every blessing, even the smallest, be happy to hear or talk or just to even be alive. Now let's go make the most out of life.....Do what you can, be daring and make it exciting because in the end you will be glad you did.

County Fairs

This will be brief but I need to get this off my chest. Last weekend I had gone to the Alameda County Fair with Mika. We had a really nice time, listen to some great music, ate some great food, saw the animals and the train exhibit., oh and lets not forget the cell phone accessory booth... THE WHAT? okay I see how the tractors and gas powered pumps, animals, home made stuff all fit into the "Farmers" life style. But cell phone accessories....good grief.

I heard something

I heard something today, well actually two things and it got me to thinking of my own situation and I have to ask "Why has no one ever said these things to me before". The first revelation was "Trying is planning to fail, don't try DO!!!' and the second was (and this really hits the mark) Why would you choose failure if success is an option?
Now as much as I loved hearing the second one and it made the blood in me just rush through my veins I must ask, " What is failure?" Failure defined is "an act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful". Now,with that theory in mind think of some of the worlds greatest inventions. The telephone, the airplane and even the automobile, were these people failures? No, absolutely not why, they kept on trying but wait, I have also heard that "trying is planning to fail". So how does this work?
Unless you are "doing" it you are not trying because you are "doing". and if you "try" to do it then well you are just planning to fail but you can't fail if you keep "trying" because that is what the inventors kept "doing", "trying" new things to make it work.

And so they did... So in actuality what am getting out of all of this is...I will keep failing as long as I try and it will be fine because sooner or later I will just do...What the Fuck?????

Into the void

Things are dark in this room, what little light does get in does not offer any ray of hope, all seems to be lost. Do I see a silver lining.... no, but when the mask you wear portrays you as the optimistic one life can be difficult. I have my own issues and nothing ever changes... no money, no job and after 10 months of this shit well that's another blog all within itself. You get tired of looking you know..for jobs. With the unemployment rate at 13% in just the Bay Area and the Bay Area has roughly 7 million people living in it do the math.

Any way back to the void....................

You get numb, you don't sleep, hell you don't even want to eat but you do. Sex is not an option any more, your man hood has been raped off of you like pirates coming a shore for the first time in a year and your the only woman in town. Drinking is an option but seriously most people drink to get numb so that would just be redundant.

The voices can be interesting, I find they can be amusing at times, the conversations, the idol gossip and the stupid arguments all in my head for my entertainment. It's dark, it's cold and there is nothing. Can you hear the echos?

I guess it's only fair

I have been on rants lately so I thought I would give you a peek into a subject that means everything to me, music. As most of you know I have been playing bass since 1978 which means I have been doing this just as long as some of you have been alive. But my love of music really didn't start there, it started with my sisters and my friends when I was about 6 years old. Donna being the older sister love soul music. James brown, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Al Green etc... that was her thing and she loved it. Now Debbie being the middle child loved rock and roll, it's not like she didn't like soul she did she just preferred rock. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The whole British invasion thing etc, so i was introduced to various styles at a young age. When I was around the age of 7 I remember there were 3 radio stations you listened to, all AM station because Fm was main stream yet but soon would become. The stations were KFRC, KYA and KLIV. KLIV would play the top 40 all the time, and if there was a major hit single you heard it every 15 or 20 minutes. KFRC and KYA would play more Album oriented rock (AOR). So around the time I was 8 or 9 my friends and I took some pieces of wood, tacked some nails down and strung rubber bands across them. This was to be my first band, we would turn on a record player and pretend to play for neighborhood kids.

But I needed to find my own bands to like, my sisters bands were old and decrypted. Wait this is 1973 and there was a band that was unique to my generation they were called KISS!!!!! Damn right what else could electrify a kid more than guys in make up that scared your parents shitless. Fire breathing, blood, fireworks and guitars that smoked and lit up, cool stuff when your 10. So they were it, 24 hours a day 7 days a week for about 6 years, but then something happened, I got my bass, learned to play Kiss songs on it but, I wasn't happy musically and then I heard the bass sound I had always wanted to hear, it was by a gentleman by the name of Ross Valory and the band was Journey. Oh my god that voice, the smoothness of the guitar and the soothing bass behind it all, I need to do that I said!!!!! So for the rest of my time my style has always been like Mr. Valory's.

I write my own stuff now, not great but it makes me happy and I have written a song for my love Michelle and gave it to her for Christmas one year. It needs to be re-done I had a terrible sore throat when I tried to sing it so I will get it done.

I find myself liking all different styles of music these days but what I am not seeing is talent. If you listen to the singers of the 70's and compare them with today you can't. Good singers are a dime a dozen, great singers are a rare breed. Lately I have been following a gentleman by the name of Eli Mattson, if you haven't heard of him go to you-tube and type in his name, listen to his version of "Walking in Memphis", I cried the first time I heard it and it is still magical today. That is when I know a performer is great, when they touch me so deep tears just roll down my face. When was the last time someone made you do that? who was the artist?

2:00am

Whoo hoo!!! day 5, yep this is the fifth day where sleep is something that may not happen. Ever wonder what to do at 2:00am well here is the short list, Watch bad TV, watch bad movie, clean, get yourself off, or play video games. Now God forbid they put something good on TV and surely you don't want to watch something good you might become interested and you might stay awake!! Oh I forgot eat, you can eat and eat and eat but it won't help you sleep. You can't always phone a friend because well life is not a game show. So I decided to blog it all out...there you go America, this is what you can do. I would like to know any other suggestions please e-mail with them put in the subject line 2:00am.

Wow...Cosco got to people

I have actually received phone calls from people about my Costco post. I find this very interesting since my post on religion and spirituality didn't receive any at all. What all of you failed to realize in the Costco post was I was not talking about you unless you are one of the TYPE of people I described. Seriously, come on now, Are you a guy with a ripped and dirty shirt, NO! are you a woman of size who wears tight and skimpy tops, NO!

Sorry for calling you all sheep....not all of you are. Just the type of people I described in the post.

Costco....

So it was Tuesday night and Michelle was going to Costco. Now I am not a fan of Costco by any means but they do have a nitch for the masses. So as we walked around and looked at the people I realized that this place was right above Walmart. I see the same type of people, husbands in a dirty t-shirts with rips in it, women in tight tops that really have no business wearing them. Kids crying and running around or wearing those stupid roller shoes that make them almost run into everyone.

So why Costco people? Is it the fact that you can get 500 load laundry detergent? 48 rolls of paper towels? 42 bags of popcorn? You can't tell me its the savings because unless you really break this down into small portions then this place is sort of expensive. Oh I know we all say " but I have 126 plastic baggies and that will last me like 4 or 5 months". Well yes and it cost you $13.95 and if you go to the dollar store and pick up a pack of 30 for a $1.00 you could spend $5.00 and get 150. But I guess your just trying to save money.

Why Costco?....it's because everyone wants a Hot Dog or a slice of Pizza. So you spend $70.00 to by yourself a 1.49 Hot dog and drink. Way to keep the economy going you sheep.

We as a nation

You know, for years I have asked the question "Would you rather have your children watch realistic bloody violence on TV (not horror flicks), or sexual activity on TV?" and to my surprise everyone say violence. Are you crazy, I would rather my daughter become a little promiscuous or my son try to get with every girl in school rather than become a serial killer.

Think about it people, VIOLENCE!! you know remember the Mendez brothers they killed their parents. Not serial killers, just wanted their parents money. Did you know that there is a web page dedicated to the children who have past away from being bullied? They call it bullicide. Bully by definition is A overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people. a man hired to do violence. Where do they learn this trait? I know it is not from any of us, we are good parents and do not go around hitting people so they must learn it from somewhere. Now some of it I know is genetic and I won't even go there.

I for one am a violent person, I believe it solves a lot of problems, don't believe me well it solved WWII, but, I will not teach my children this. Will I teach my children how to defend themselves...YES. Is that teaching violence? fine line. There is a lot of common sense in defending yourself, there is none in fighting.

Now lets talk sex....

You can get your daughter/son under some control. You can educate them, let them know that what they are doing is not good for them, (please do not use the "you are ruining your life"speech, it stupid and will get you nowhere). There are groups and doctors, hell even planned parenthood can help but the line of communication needs to be open. With violence once you taste blood, it never goes away.

Greek Mythology part 1

I just saw Clash of the Titans the other day and it really got me to thinking "Could these people actually existed?" seems to be a fair question to ask but to find this answer out will take some time but let us look at some baseline facts for a start. There are statues and bust all over the world of these Gods and they all look quite similar let us take Zeus for example. OK now that you have seen similarities, realize that there are Hundreds of statues like this all over the world, the same beard, same bone structure, same robe.

Now I am not really asking did the God Zeus REALLY exist, what I am saying is did a man with whom was such a great leader the people thought of him as a God? so I decided to look into it.

Now according to many Greek Theologists and Religious sects throughout Greece and the world he existed before the world began. He was also known as Jupiter. Now I know what some of you are thinking "Well God created heavens and the stars" fine please read my post on Religion. But we also know one interesting fact and that is Zeus had been worshiped by the ancient Indo- European cultures. Which means people like Socrates, Homer (not the dude from the Simpsons) and Aristotle worshiped him and all of this was from 730BC to 369BC.

As I keep reading on and on about this subject (it has been 2 days) the mystery gets deeper and deeper. Zeus's Grandparents were Gaia (the earth, also known as mother nature) and Uranus (the sky) which is making me wonder if the Greeks were actually worshiping planets. So far we have Earth, Uranus and Jupiter.

Now Zeus's parents Cronus and Rhea were interesting. They are the first generation Titans. Cronus is actually mentioned in the Hebrew bible as Kronos (Same Person). Cronus castrated his own father and had a fear that the same would happen to him so he ate his children (all 5) but when Rhea decided to keep their last sibling (Zeus) the 6th child she wrapped a rock up and fed him that instead. Later on in life Zeus was able to have Cronus bring back his siblings and then over threw his father.

Okay so what does this have to do with anything, ahhh the beauty of a blog... Look I have done a lot of reserch over the years on Greek Mythology. I am NO expert, but it seems that no matter what I read, no matter what I look at the story and pictures are all the same. So I must ask this question... Could it all have been real? How can a story be written so perfectly. There is no need for a government cover up and there is no secrets to hide. If all of the world knows of this and accepts it as myth then why is the story never been embellished over thousands of years. the story is perfect, hard to poke holes into, there seems to be answers for everything. Every question you can think of. Even Zeus's death is answered. "For he cannot die he is a God however, in the real world, when people came to accept Christianity, the beliefs on the gods and goddesses vanished. People started to forget worshiping Zeus and the other Olympians and this became the end of their reign on the minds of men and they simply vanished.
