Okay for all of you who read my blogs...(all two of you) I have been challenged. You see my best friend Veronica likes to call me a dork when ever I post something. I think it is because of either the topics or the writing style. So she asked me to do one on being a dork...remember Veronica you asked for it.

Stupid person 1967 originally, U.S. student slang probably from and earlier meaning "penis"(1964), itself probably an alteration of dick.
Well I don't consider myself a stupid person so I don't think I am a dork.
Stupid by definition is:
1 Lacking ordinary quickness and keenness of mind; dull.
2 Characterized by or proceeding from mental dullness; foolish; and senselessness.
Now I do find myself to be a dick at times I don't feel this allows me to be classified as a dork, where as I do have a penis at all times but I don't consider it a dork... I can have many women attest to it...it knows exactly what it is doing.

Word origin and history for the word dick:
Fellow, lad, man, 1553 rhyming name with Rick, short for Richard, one of the most commonest Eng. names. it has long been a synonym for fellow and so most of the slang senses are probably very old, but naturally hard to finding the surviving records. The meaning "Penis" is attested from 1891in the British army slang. Meaning detective is recorded from 1908 perhaps as a shortened version of the name detective.
So where there is no argument that I am a dick because well lets face it I am a man and dork derives itself from penis/dick but I am not stupid or lacking any kind of mental awareness so I must be a special kind of dick. So you see Veronica I guess you can say I am best kind of dick there is ( been telling you that for years) I am not just a penis, I am dick and don't you forget it.
