At the end of week 2

Week 2 was really tough, what started out as a great 4.2 pound weight loss (217) quickly turned into a 2 pound weight gain (219) by Wednesday. Worked harder and smarter got back down to my original weight of 217 by Thursday but still needed something to show a loss. Measured everything that went into my cooking so I could count every calorie and Friday night pushed myself to the limit to come out at 1.4 pound loss, tough week like I said. Well Monday starts week 3 let us see what is in store.

Monday 2/27/2012

It started today, as of 6:40am this morning I took that first step, that first step on to the scale. Now before I tell you what it said I must tell you that Michelle weighed in with me. I don't know her starting number, I didn't want to, for her this is personal and I will respect that, okay back to me.... Up on the scale I go 221.4, 4 lbs lighter than I thought, cool. Goal this week 218 would be frickin awesome but 219-220 is more realistic. I know my body, it will fight me until broken (like a horse in a rodeo). And so the new life and journey begins.

Whitesnake.....

So who remembers them and if not who remembers the song "Here I go again"? Well that title explains what I am doing, going again, down a road so many of us travel and end up making 3 left turns (or right) to find ourselves back where we started. This road needs to be straight, oh I know it will be a winding road at times but it cannot have stop signs, yield signs, stop lights not even a damn speed bump or speed limit sign, it just has to be go go go. Oh and no pot holes (those are people who try and sabbotage what you are doing and it just ruins everything).

Yes I am going to blog my journey......Stop cheering (hahahahahaha)

My Dad's day is on Tuesday so what better way to honor him then to do what he asked.

Exercise poem

May my feet be sore
and my muscles ache
May I push through the pain
and never ever break

Keep pushing your limits
for you have none
Get off your ass
and get this thing done

Change your life
not just your weight
Because once you do
your true life awaits.

Yeah....I made that one up.

IS EVERYONE FLIPPIN READY FOR THIS.....SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE (of 200 that is)
